Bad Credit History?
Both myself and my partner have bad credit history, my partner has two defaults which he wasn’t aware of. We managed to finally buy a house 6 months ago but had to go with a company who deal with people who have bad credit which means we didn’t get a great deal and was the nearest we could get to finally getting on the property ladder. The thing is in May 2009 our fixed rate ends and our monthly mortgage payments will be be alot higher than they are at the moment. We are paying everything either before the due date or on time to help get our credit into order. Is there anything else we can do to help us getting a cheaper remortgage when it comes to it?
Most of our bad credit is catalogues and store cards, we do not have any credit cards as we don’t believe in them.
if you have outstanding credit cards try to get a loan to pay them off – the less credit you have the better. pay your cards off and your credit rating goes up. pay everything on time, dont get in arrears
