What do you do when your man takes his own cool time to marry you? Would you wait or would you move on?

This is for my friends boyfriend. He dated her for 3 years. Now he says lets marry this year. He states the reasons he could not marry earlier as being,

lack of a proper job

Wanted to start a better business

Wanted to pay off his debts

clear his other basic problems…

sort it out with his family

sort out the religion problem with his parents as he and she belong to different religions…

The thing is that her parents are pressurerizing her to get married and she is torn between both sides and screams at her boyfriend asking him to tie the knot. He says this year this year, coz of these troubles and she says ok I will wait and time keeps passing.

Finally he has said that he will marry her by this year end. Can he be trusted? He bought her a ring, he promised her, he is genuine about her, but nothing is happening.

Would you wait for someone like this or would you bite your teeth and move on in life?

Thanks for helping my friend.

Well to be honest looking at his reasons, I think they are good reasons for not getting married. For goodness sake debt and outside problems are enough to make relationships end and it’s not a good start to married life.

He just wants to be sure hes doing things the right way around. He has good intentions and it will happen when the time is right. Tell your friend to be patient and perhaps get those two talking, its not something you can resolve because its not your relationship
